A different presentation to the Hi-Float Caddis, this CDC & Elk sits lower in the water, making it perfect for those flatter areas of the river where fish sit in wait of the hatching sedges. Great in the edges and seams, or in that back eddy where the big fish lurk, the CDC & Elk sits flush and gets sipped! We’ve kept the super fluorescent sight post on the CDC & Elk, meaning you can fish it in to dark, when the largest trout come out to play. Make no mistake though, this one isn’t just for the trout guys – the sz20 version of this fly is going to be one of your absolute favourite grayling patterns too.
